Intex Explorer K2 Inflatable Kayak - Yellow

Very easy to setup and take down. Very stable in the water and tracking is good. Material is strong and thick and does not show abrasion despite being dragged across rocks. Pump and paddles are both very good. Kayak can be carried by one person but easier with two people. Biggest downside are the seats - okay it you only intend to be on the water for an hour but they can become uncomfortable if you're on there for more than two. I purchased a hard boat seat and fixed it to a sheet of plywood, for when I'm going solo and I'm glad I did - lots of good videos on how to do this on youtube.

Loved this blow up kayak and recently took it on a camping trip. Easy to blow up, a bit of extra work to deflate and the carrying bag is nice and big so that the kayak and all accessories fit.

Just came back from my first ocean paddle and cannot say enough good things about this, so happy with my purchase! First of all the shipping was quick and it arrived two days after I ordered it. I inflated it by myself and it took no longer than 10 minutes, very easy and straightforward. 2 adults and 1 30lb dog fit into the boat quite comfortably. The water was pretty choppy, but the kayak was stable and easy to maneuver. The paddles worked great too. An all-around great bang for your buck, and so excited to use this all summer!
Update: I ended up getting the K1 Challenger as well just because the Explorer was too big for me to carry by myself. I also have to say that this one has hard plastic edging right where your hands rub to paddle, causing some cuts and irritation, and I now need to wear gloves when paddling this kayak. I prefer the Challenger model if comparing the 2.

This is a great inflatable, offering great value for money. Not an abundance of leg room, and the pump requires bending over while inflating, but otherwise this is a convenient and inexpensive way to get out on the water. Would not recommend for choppy waters, best on a calm day on the lake, as it is very lightweight.

It inflates fast, total less than 10mins for all the chambers. deflate is not perfect because some of the chambers require you to hold the nozzle and squeeze the air out, but acceptable since it still takes shorter time than inflate. Full weight of 16KG is a little heavy but not bad. Sturdy and can hold two people well. Overall I like it!
