Intex Challenger K1 Inflatable Kayak - Green

This kayak is great it came with paddle, pump and carrying bag. The kayak itself has some weight to it not anything drastic but made me feel at ease. Its easy to inflate, super comfortable especially with back support. I did deflate the bottom part of the seat to sit more into the kayak (as my preference). During my paddle on the lake i did get turned around a bit but nothing too crazy and was able to get back on track quickly. Paddling with and against the current was not incredibly hard either. But I would get a better paddle in the future. Structure and durability of the kayak was great, I am 5’7 and thus plenty of leg room. I cannot wait to take it out again. Very pleased with my purchase.

I got this after having read the reviews that included leaks and splits in the seam. Mine didn’t not have those problems, so I speak from a place where the product was perfect for me! It’s a great in between for us you want to kayak but don’t want to commit or have the ability to use a larger kayak. It was easy to inflate and deflate and provides lots of on board storage and leg room.

All in all. Great.

I've taken my K1 out twice now and had a great time. I haven't had any loss of air problems or any other problems. I've inflated it 4 times now. Once when I first opened it to make it was holding air. Twice to go kayaking/fishing and once to test a modification I wanted to make. The paddle works great for me. If you aren't in a rush you won't get wet. If you try to go fast or paddle into the wind you will get a few drops from the paddles on you but it's not too bad. The cargo net is pretty spacious. Fits my anchor, backpack and fishing tackle tray and still has room to spare. I never felt like it would tip over so far. It's very stable even in waves. Takes less than 5 mins to inflate. Not too heavy. I would totally recommend it. Now I want to get the 2 seater explorer from Intex so I can go out with my daughter or my wife sometimes. I have a feeling the people that say the seems split have over inflated the air chambers. Either that or it's a factory defect. I'm interested to see how many years I can get out of this kayak. They used to be much less expensive.
