Good size and sturdy and looks like a real pool. I'm over 6 feet tall and have room to stretch out and even go fully underwater. I keep it covered and use chemicals and a filter and it stays pretty clean.
After trying an 800gph filter I found the 1000gph works better to move the water and keep things cleaner (using the Intex C1000 Krystal Clear 1000gph).
Overall very happy and couldn't beat the price either.
We bought this pool to fit in a small space in our backyard and it is perfect. It is even deep enough for me to swim free style if I attach a harness and swim in place.
Good buy, sturdy. Watch the Intex pool youtube video that makes it simple to assemble. Nice size to just relax in during the hot summers, but not to swim. At least not for adults. Good size for Parents to teach young toddlers to swim. 8.5' long x 5.25' wide x 25' 5/8" high. A phillips screw driver needed at the end of assembly for the inlet screen cover for the water filter pump hose. Keep in mind that you'll have to buy the Intex filter pump separately. But if you don't, there should be three plugs for the inlet and outlet of the pool. I had bought the Intex filter pump for another pool, but luckily I bought this Intex pool that it went to. So all good. Oh, the instructions suggested sprinkling talcum power over the steel poles before slipping it in through the pool sleeves for easy removal later for winter storage. And, that's about it. Hopefully this was informative.
